TN start and Iowa finished
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:03:45 pm »
Here are the pictures of the bow I started in TN at the IBO.  Many thanks to those that helped.  Special thanks to Pappy, Shannon, Jeff, and Will. I will post the full draw tonight. This is an osage bow it is 53#@26" the Length is 62 inches. I did not put leather on the handle because I like the wood feel and I shaped it to fit my hand. I like how responsive it is to were pressure is placed on the handle. I used a walnut husk (thanks to a PM I had with Mullet) to brown the bright yellow up a bit.

Nice can't wait to see full draw. You had some awesome help on this one. Amazes me how someone, Eddie in this case, can have an impact with a few words. The help from Pappy and his Twin Oaks Posse almost guarantees success.

Nice bow for sure but to quote halfeye" Deer ain't gonna think much of it".

That came out real nice, looking forward to the Full- Draw. I also have an osage I started at Twin Oaks I need to finish up. I might have to take it up there with me in a week to get it finished.
