A ton Cipriano! ...........I have no idea really. I have only done traditional flat bow sinew work. I do think it takes a good bit to get it as thick as I have seen it from others bows.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

If you are interested in making a horn bow, you should get- Ottoman Turkish bows, manufacture & designby Adam Karpowicz.  I bought it a year or so ago with the intention of eventually making one, just haven't had much time to start the process (besides processing some of the sinew.   I'll check later in the book what it recommends.

According to my book, you should plan on 50-60 grams of sinew and another 50-60 grams of glue for a bow weighing 300-350 grams (for an Ottoman bow about 42 inches long and 100+lb).  His recommendation for a first bow is 80-100 grams of sinew, even if the bow will not be more than 50 lbs.  I believe this is about 4 oz.  He notes this is for 3 layers.  Good luck  ;)

what kind of horn bow? Hobow is talking about a composite. For a horn bow you want almost as much sinew as horn in the end

Plan on 125 grams for a bow with a draw weight of 80-90lbs,it also depends on where and how you lay the sinew plus the weight of the glue in dry form before you start sinewing the bow.

Thanks for the input. I didn't realize it took so much.
