hammerstone work

quick pass with the ulna bone or tine and they are done. mix of stuff from rootbeer , george, and onandaga. been in a rut with the hammers, finally started to get back in the groove.

Cool stuff..thanks for sharing and showing your hammerstones. I tried and experimented with them for the first time last weekend and liked it a lot. I think once I get better ill prob trend to the abo tools.

That rootbeer gots some neat synchronized light streaks on it. And good job on the stink rock with stones n bone ;) im 2-3 hours south of the onandaga escarpment. I've thought of heading up there to find some.  ::)

I always like to see tools.  Nice points, the last three didn't load for me.  I hope the big oops wasn't to that cool one w/ the badger claw in it.  :(

cool. no i havnt been up to the onandaga areas. i used to have an excellent source for normanskill but now its houses. if you ever plan on going up let me know and if i can make the time i'll meet you. russ (ancientarcher) lives in the catskill area and ive been trying to get together with him to gather normans and esopus

blackhawk there is also some jasper areas in penn i am supposed to be going on a trip to. i'll let you know if that pans out.

The jasper area is prob about a 6 hour drive,but im always up for an adventure. Just let me know. After archery season is over ill have most weekends open,so just give me a holler. There's also meta rhyolite and basalt down on south mountain just west of Gettysburg, I've thought of heading over there too,but not sure if that hard rock is worth it.  ;)

Chris, a "Rocky Road Trip" would be a pretty cool adventure...need a 1 ton pickup with dualies and maybe a nice trailer to help gather the haul  8)
