Handel this.

Can I steam bend a handle with a glue on rider. I used Elmers wood glue.

I  wouldn't unless you want to take the riser off, LOL.   :)  :)

Heat the handle area up to make the glue release. TB glue will release at 150 deg(F) I guess Elmers would be close to that but you can call their 1-800 number and ask. That's how I found out about TB glues.
  Once you remove the handle heat straighten the bow and replace the handle.  ;)

If you heat treat - especially steam - any clue would lose it's integrity sooner or later I would think.
