this is a piece of petrefied wood, or opalised wood, shure get some cool looks with the light behind it, i noticed in the one pic i need to take a little off in a spot, Bub

thank's guy's, and ya i cooked it in the kitchen stove at 450, put it in with some mook and some other stuff turned it on and let it go 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, Bub
oh yeah, i meant agatized wood, not opalized, had a brain fart on that one

Cool point and a killer for sure bubby. I picked up a bunch of petrified wood in ND but have yet tried to knap any - may have to now.
