Marathon
« on: October 01, 2011, 12:23:07 am »
In just under 11 hours I will start my first marathon. It is supposed to be hot tomorrow so I have a little anxiety about the whole thing. It keeps me in shape for hunting though. I need that because roofing is such a wussy job.  ;D

Is that the 26 on the bus to the start?

Good Luck Justin.
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Thanks everyone, it was a hot sun-a-gun. A little over 80* at the finish line. I still managed to finish in 4 hours.

Good job!  That's my goal for Chicago in a year, but Chicago is flat and fast...and will probably be 60 degrees.

Good luck Jeff, if I can make it you can. It was a lot cooler here 2 weeks ago, but it warmed back up.  :-\

Good for you, Justin, Congratulations. That takes a lot of guts and training to pull that off, my hat is off to ya. I'm still trying to get control back in my right foot. I'm not used to settling for gimpy.
