If the slop you're talking about is between the sleeve and the billet, you're going to need a good glue. I only use ea40 smooth-on epoxy for the sleeve joint but I suspect any slow dry epoxy would work. I would wait until you have the other limb fit too before gluing in case things aren't perfectly aligned and you need to make an adjustment. That little bit of slop may come in handy.
