Looks great, I like hickory, especially if heat treated.

EXCELLENT WORK!  Very nice bow.  Clean, simple, functional, beautiful!  Good job!  I'm jealous.
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

That is the flattest unbraced profile on a hicory bow I think I have ever seen!!! Awsome I may need to be let in on your secret  ;)
Is this bow making a sickness? or the cure...

Have been shoting a lot with the bow now and i love it.i also thinned the tips a bit and made them a bit oval to get them lighter but still stiff,i also tweaked the tiller a bit.
Im a bit confused over what happened when i did,i was prepared to lose some weight but i went from 53 and a bit to 54 and a bit after scraping it lightly, thats not how its supposed to work  ???
The only thing i can imagine is that it dried up some and gained weight between....nevermind im happy for it ;D
This is how it looks now

@ soy i think the reason it is straigh unbraced is that i induced a bit of reflex when heattreating it,so consider yourself "let in" on my secret ;)
