One of the things I remember about the Classic was meeting Josiah...what a fine young man. I told Josiah that my son's name is Josiah also. My Josiah is coming out this weekend to hunt whitetail with a stick and string....I will be sure and tell him about your Josiah's success.

Josiah in the bible was one of Israel's youngest kings...I suspect he was a hunter too.

I'm also interested to know how many pounds that set up is.  My 14 yr old is hunting with me this Oct but he is struggling a bit with the min weight for MN of 30#.  I hope he gets a close opportunity like that.  We are going to use ghillie suits and mocs and try to get close.

Way to go Josiah. Hawk you should be proud of that young man for sure. I met him here in Tennessee as well. He is a great young man.

Very cool, Josiah. Now I have a role model to to look up to and try to emulate. Mike, I know you and Stacy are very proud parents.
If Josiah's writing skills are anywhere near his hunting skills I know PA would love to publish his story.  8)

Raghorns.. good luck to you and Josiah.. I look forward to seeing some hunt pics on here of your success. Pat... you just need to come out here and go hunting with Josiah.. that way i can have a break... lol thanks Big A... Guar.. Josiah's bow draws about forty five pounds at 26 inch draw... he shoots carbon shafts with heavy brass weight forward inserts.. for better penetration.. the wood shafts he shoots weren't penetrating good enough for elk with the lower poundage bow..

Now that is pretty darned cool.  I can't believe how close he got!  What a rush that must have been.  I smell the makings of an article.  PA, you gotta do it!  If you have more pics, please post.  I think we'd all like to see more of this young man's successes.

Way to go, Josiah!
