This is my first attempt posting pictures on here. You all have heard me gripe about computers/pictures/etc in the past. So we'll see how this goes. I just got this ERC long(ish)bow mostly done. Stats are 66" TtT, 53# @ 28 though I've been pulling it less as that makes me nervous. Backed with rawhide from Pine Hollow. Got a floppy rest from a trade on here. Handle wrapped with gutted 550 cord. The bit of string follow is natural from the stave. It took no set in tillering. (Of course it didn't. It's ERC. It'll either work or EXPLODE. Not take a set...) I'm mostly pleased with it as it shoots pretty darn hard and, as long as I do my part, very accuratly. It still needs a bit finer sanding and a finish. I'll probably take it down to 220 or 250 grit paper and then either tung oil it or use rendered hog lard. Maybe varnish the 550 cord. All in all, I'm mostly okay with it. Thanks for looking.
