That's a beaut. As been said, I too like the gull wing shape.
BTW How did you survive that heatwave this summer in Oklahoma. I live in Az now and my family back in Ok said it was like Az heat WITH the humidity.
Anyway, beautiful weapon as usual...

Thanks for the replies. The set back was acheived with steam, but you must be careful not to crack the wood on the underside of the handle.
The heat was very bad this year in Okla, we had many days from 108-112 degrees. I worked most of them, My shop by afternoon was usually around 110 degrees on the average, So I usually worked from 7 a.m. till 1 p.m. then stopped for the afternoon and back at it in the evening. Was dangerously hot this year. I usually went through a gallon of water a day while working.
We are cooling off now and fall is really great here..not to mention Hunting season starts. ;D

Now I'm really homesick. I know how thick the white tail are. I lived in NE OK, on the edge of the Neosho river. Past my house....nothing but woods. Man it was beautiful...My house, river/woods, grand lake. :) Late night in the winter I could spot light my back yard and have 2-4 sets of red eyes looking back at me once in a while.
Out here, you got Javalina, coyote, and you have to hope for a lottery pick to get elk.

  I only shoot self arrows so I know what it takes cto get arrows to look like that. EXSPECIALLY dogwood which is what I mainly shoot. SWEETTTTTTT
