I went on a Nebraska Traditional Archers hog/javelina hunt in SW Texas years ago that was a blast but the hunting was tough. I think there were 8 of us? If the hogs are thick enough at the lease to make it worth your time I'd be happy to take you and a friend or 2. All it'll cost is the $50 5-day Texas exotics license. If the lease doesn't have hogs, or you'd like to have a larger group I can look around for a spot like I went to years ago. Most places offer lodging so it's only marginally more than the cost of a hotel room. The good ones fill up waaaay in advance though so if that's the route you want to go you'd better make plans quick. Do some practice in the dark before you come down.
I'm still looking for a spot to hunt them closer and preferably on the east side of Dallas. All things in time I guess. My favorite time to hunt hogs is Mar-May, but in that time frame the hogs can be spotty as different food sources become available and the hogs always go to the easy food. I went out with the night vision rifle for a couple nights this weekend and they gave me the slip.
