fluflu arrow

I made a fluflu arrow. Im pretty sure its sourwood. The tip is a nut. It took me a while to make it. Im new at primitive stuff so i had to figure out how to split the feather and take all the white stuf out of the middle of the feather. the cresting isn't fancy but it took me forever. I used my flytying thread. After i wrapped the feather it was hard for me to hold it and wrap the thread at the same time, but im finished and Im happy with it.

thanks kegan, my only concern is that it might be too light spined, but i think it will still fly good. I hope it is worthy of a squirrel, and ive always wanted to try stump shooting so know ill be able to.

That bright white shaft will stick out well for stumpin'. For a 40-45# bow, it should be fine as far as spine.

Nice arrow, now you've gotta make a dozen!
As for the feathers, you can strip them, there's a nice tutorial on Mickey Lotz's site here.

Check it out, when you strip a feather none of the white pith stays inside.
