50" ash bow (first selfbow)

Finished this a few months ago and posted over on the planet. Just signed up here and it looks like a great site.
Bow is #38 at 25", 50" nock to nock

Blimey, that's a great job on a tricky short bow.
If that's your first self bow you are well on your way to being one heck of a bowyer.
Great job to get a bit of Ash to do that.
I s'pose we should see it unstrung...

Hey I'm with Dell, that is suberb for a first bow of anykind.....let a alone a "D" pullin half it's length.

Lovely bow. Looks like you have it all down. The tiller looks spot on and even more impressive is that its pulling half its length. Exellent job and congratulations on your first stave bow.

incredible tiller for the first bow. and you kept the draw weight above 20#. MOST IMPRESSIVE. :)
