Rock Run
« on: August 28, 2011, 07:10:32 pm »
I went down the creek again this morning. Picked up about 60lbs of what I think is called TN Dover. I found one that weighed over 25lbs!! Im really starting to like this stuff. I made a few little 100gr triangle points from it. Thought Id share some pics...  :) :) :)

Nice points, Will, the kind I like to hunt with. Sounds like I need to bring my flyrod when I come up turkey hunting, the creek will be deep enough for trout by then. ;D ;)

Looks like some good rocks Will! And them are some damn good looking triangles your making there - love the scar patterns! I'm thinking I may have to hit your creek before my time is done in TN. I roughed out that entire bucket of stuff me, you, and Shannon picked up and then some. Can't wait to cook some and see what i can coax out of it. This is cowboy in case your wondering :).

Thanks y'all. Paul I found most of that stuff just a couple hundred yards downstream from the bridge. I spalled out that big rock, I think I'm gonna put some heat to it whenever I get my turkey roaster back from AR... :)
Mullet- Im nit sure about trout but I've been seein some pretty good smallmouth. It's got me thinking the same.  ;)
