Bow wood
« on: August 29, 2011, 01:36:55 pm »
Just a PSA, there is free bow wood laying all over Southern Maryland. Actually my neighbors keep getting angry everytime I ask them with obvious excitment if they lost any Hickory!  There are tons of red and white oaks down. A few maples.

White oak is great wood, right there with hickory in my opinion.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Be very careful cutting any trees that were blown over in the storm. Lots of hidden tension stresses that can be deadly if not handled correctly!!!
