Cool bow!  I have several crepe myrtle staves that are dry and it is amazing how light they are.

thanks for all the nice words . CM is hands down the best bow wood ive used and yall know ive done a few. im thrilled everytime i see the 26 staves i have left leanin up in the shop. this was my 3rd CM bow and my 99th shooter . thanks again

thanks again guys , Scott i havent seen a performance diffeence yet but i will watch for anything while i build the next few . i  have a couple more small diameter ones ready for shaping before i get into the big stuff. it does steam good so the next one might just be a recurve. bout ready to do a static again its been a while

Patb missed your ? , its easy to work and very forgiving , if ya try one i think it will remind ya of a dense piece of osage
