Holmegaard bow dimensions.

What percent of a Holmegaard bow limb should be the bending portion? For example a 66 inch Holmegaard bow has 30 and a half inch long limbs (due to the minus of the 5 inch long handle section). How far down the limb should it taper into the thin non bending portion of the Holmegaard limb?

From what I've read, 2/3 of the limb bends while the last 1/3 of the limb remains static.

2/3rds is right however holmies will not be rigid or static the narrowed portion will bend but not as much as the inner limb . if the last section is rigid or static it become a mollegabet or because of the normally tapered working limb of the holmie a modified molly

Thanks Ken for clarifying that fact.  Now I finally know the difference between the two!  I've struggled over that one.
