I was checking the plant out today & stumbled across a berm with some flint in it. Seem like some hi-grade material. I think it's gonna knapp well without heat. Next chance I get I'm need to look again.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I think New Braunfels flint is a variant of Georgetown. It knapps very well raw, but its lighter in color than GTown

A buddy of mine gave me some heat treated New Braunfels chert. Some of the best stone I've ever worked!
