I bet boar hide would be tough. Are yours rawhide or is it tanned? I plan on going hog hunting in OK in November. I might have to try that. Thanx, Josh

The board hide is tanned, he only used the stuff off the shoulders.

On the pair of high top hair on buff hide mocs I made I put on Goop mixed with rubber shavings.
I know not paleo correct but it does help with keeping dew and moisture out and traction and longevity.
The nice thing is that you cant see the sole most times.
