This was found in a plowed field in New Braunfels TX. The preform seems to have been built for convexity not thinning overall. There is some pressure flaking on the edges. Thenipple I think was built to thin the point from the base to the tip. Its not a broken drill or preforator. I'm not calling it paleo, but I think the act of fluting may have remained a part of the reduction process if the material wasn't cooraporating with the knapper.
