New Points from Jon and Mike's Rock
« on: July 25, 2011, 07:27:24 pm »
I have been really busy this summer and have not had a lot of time to knapp. Here are a few from the rocks that I got from Jon Stewart and Mike Cook this year at Comton. Had a great time knapping with them and learning new tricks. Thanks for looking !

Sweet points

Thanks Bob I'm really trying to get my stuff looking more like it should and taking more time on it is really helping. Here is a pic of my first obsidian knife. Just finished it tonight. The blade is 6 1/2" X 1 1/2".

I have to say that Jimmy can be one proud dad.  Besides Mason's knapping ability he is a very polite and thankful young man.  It was easy to give him rock to knap.  Wife and I are going to try and make it down to their shoot next year .

Dang Mason!!
Those points are killer and the knife is just sick.
You edge work has come a long way sense we knapped last and your symmetry has also cleaned up some.
Keep it up your doing very good!
