I've been throwing a small fan of under cooked coral out of the way for months now. I knew it had some nice color but wasn't sure there was even enough rock there to mess with. I loaded up my turkey roaster last week and threw it in with some other under heated coral and some Pedernales I got from Cowboy.
Cooking was successfull and really made cleaning up that coral a lot easier. This coral head was only about an inch thick and the size of my palm with a thick chalky cortex all over. I was an hour skinning it but what was hiding under there was worth it.
Last picture is it with two other coral Daltons...all headed back to Florida this week.
