i think i got this stuff workin now and here are the tillering pics.  They are bad so i might put up some some.  I noticed when i braced my bow that one limb was stiff.  I was confused because the tiller was perfect before i braced it.  Her e are the pics. tell me what you think.

thanks,
david wilton

David, It took me over 2 years to learn to post pics. ;D
Looks like both limbs are bending at mid limb but not much on the inside limbs(near the handle) or at the tips. Be careful with the right limb. You are working towards a hinge(where the limbs bends too much) where it is bending. Mark the belly with "X"s at that point so you won't remove any more wood from that area until the rest of the limb catches up. You might also mark the left limb where it is bending for the same reason.  Other than that, you are coming along nicely. If you were using a long string before you will get false readings after a point. Thats why it better to stop using it after your limbs are bending 6" to 8", but then brace at a low brace height as not to stress the newly working limbs but you can see the actual curve of the limbs.    Pat

The right limb looks just a tad stiffer than the left, but other than that it looks good! Alot better than most of my first bows ;D
