I've been busy in the world of penturning
« on: July 21, 2011, 11:47:00 am »
I still shoot on a daily basis, but this is what I've been up to recently
I have some pens that I have made that I think will appeal you primitives, as well as others

Axis deer antler

Danish Bog Oak (dug out of Danish swampland, the wood is many thousands of years old)

Genuine Laphroaig Scotch Whisky barrel pen, turned carefully to maintain the burn from the inside of the barrel (with cert. of authenticity hehe)

Small pinecones cast into yellow and red acrylic

Marble White Corian

Curly spalted maple burl one piece cigar pen

Sycamore

Compressed sunflower seed shells

Silver leaf under clear acrylic

And for the CEO or buisness owner (or major suckup gift for the boss): Curly Eucalyptus, on a chrome and black titanium plated Jr Statesman style rollerball pen ((I rarely make pens in this "high end range"))

Very nice, Alex. And I'm carrying the Tonkin Bamboo one every day, too. I bet Mechslasher will jump all over the Scotchbarrel one.
