Rattlesnake necklace

After skinning a roadkill rattlesnake last year, I threw the body in the edge of the woods by my fire pit.  Somewhere, it might have been on here, I don't know, but I saw somebody mention a snake vertebrae necklace.  I went to where I had thrown the snake and found a pile of bones.  I picked through the weeds and found as many as I could.  A little cleaning and a soak in some peroxide got them nice and white.  I tried getting them lined up by size.  They interlock when you get them right.  I threaded a small cord through the hole where the spinal column was.  This has got me interested in making a bone carving necklace.

Might have been me that mentioned it (pic included), but I wasn't nearly as savvy as you for using roadkill. That is very impressive to me as you found a use for something that otherwise would have gone to waste. Very nice sir! I cheated a little as my snake was someone's pet python that croaked during the night.

I'm with Lee; Frickin' cool!

I wonder how a garter snake would work?  That's about all I have here.  There's two trapped in our basement window well that I'm watching grow.  I want to use their skins, now I'll have to try one of those necklaces!
