Hi All,
I am having a hard time tillering my new hickory backed massaranduba. I am aiming for 50# it feels like that's not going to be a problem if I don't get any hinges or fix them now
Sorry about the grapes blokking the view, I really need to find a better place to tiller my bow
Greetings form the Netherlands,
Stefan

I like to see tiller checks....I enjoying seeing if my opinion is similar to others.
I like the look of your bow
....just seems it could bend more at the fades.
And maybe just an optical allusion but looks like the early, early start of a hinge at the knot in the fence (left side). Or maybe it's just the knot that is throwing me off!!

Nope thats a hinge on the left and just to the side of the grapes looks like another hinge starting.
Thats my 2 cents
Good luck

I too like to see these Pictures....OK...here is what I see...take it or leave it....
The Left Limb has a near Hinge going (red arrow) on about mid-limb...and the Fades are too Stiff (blue arrows) ...I like to see this wood moving quickly into the draw...

Remove wood from middle limbs and everything will be fine. Do not hurry and check tiller often.
