As i broke the last one i was making for him i had to try again.As im new to this seasoned wood is scarce so i recycled the limbs from my first try.
A split sledgeshaft of hickory.
It is backed with a thin cloth for safety and is tillerd out to just over 25" so it have a margin of over 3" as he draws 22. top limb bends a bit too close to the handle (Again)but only at max draw.
I just hope the low weight makes it hold up over the summer.At the rate they grow at that age ill have to make a new next year anyway

Its 54" ttt 26# @25" 1 3/8" at widest and just shy of 1/2" at the tips.
