I am sure I speak for everyone on this forum....shut up and go away!
I'm still eating my Black Hills Elk
tag from last year! Talk about dry, gamey, and tough!
Lemme know if you need any gear for camp, I have a 9x12 wedge tent with a woodstove, cots, wool blankies, etc, etc! I can even supply a camp wrangler/cook in exchange for some elk meat and/or beer.
And remember to check your gear every morning, you MUST forget to bring a camera or else you will never see an elk much less have a shot. Once the elk is down, drug to the vehicle, loaded, and in the tree back at camp you are allowed photos. At any point up until then you will jinx the whole process. Trust me, remember those tags I was eating?
