Magyar Horn Composite

Here is a Magyar Hungarian style horn composite that i've been working on for some time now.  i just finished it up today.  Specs are: 51" from tip to tip, 49" from groove to groove, 65# at 30".  It has a maple core, handle, and siyahs.  Elk leg sinew, sturgeon fish bladder glue, velum lamb leather cover, painted dark brown with gold hungarian floral motifs at mid-limb.  Has a Hungarian stag at the upper limb, a snow leopard on the lower limb.  Has a turul falcon on the top and bottom of the belly at the siyahs.

It always amazes me what power and drawlengths these fragilelooking bows can deliver..
looks is decieving.
Good job...but we want more pics ;)

Excellent work, James!  I'm amazed at both the bow and the patience/skill it took to produce it.  Looking forward to some more pictures. :)

Another nice one Robustus. How many man hours do you put into a piece like that? Do you think that you will be doing a build along sometime? I for one would be interested in the process.
