more kids bows, their finnished with pics

my two youngest grandson's got to fightin over the one bow that i built the oldest one before his brother was born, so i got to making them a matched pare of hickory bows, this is #1, it's a little farther along than the other one, 48" ttt pyramid style about 16# @ 18" but big enough for them to grow with for awile, Bub

you're right about that Lee, these bows won't get to fancy cause Colt and Levi are all boy and will use the crap outta them, they get nicer bows when they get older, Bub

aint it awful for them to want too shoot a bow that bad, nice bow you are building, but you are building memories and that is way too cool initself.

well here they are colt & levi are into spiderman so that should explain the finnish, 48" ttt, ones about16#@18" and the other is a couple pounds heavier, pin nocks, hickory with rit dye stain and I sharpied in the spider webs, they talked me into letting them shoot them before the finnish was done and they were having a blast ;D, hope ya like them, Bub

Ya may not call it fancy.....but them are sweet bows, bend-shoot-look good.....hell man that's what "papa's" is for.  I think them are just slick as get-out

Great looking bows. Great time with the kids.  You might want to move the target closer to the fence for safety reasons. An arrow could possibly glance off the brisket area and hit the truck or even someone walking up the side walk.  ;) I've seen them go almost sideways from the target when ricocheting.
