Thats cool to hear! I know this bow has been around for quite some time that is one of the things that made me want it knowing he used it as one of his personal bows he has used. I believe I shot the serviceberry twig you are speaking of but it was a while back so I dont remember for sure. I would say most all of his bows are screamers, I really like his ocean spray bows too allot but its hard not to Love all of them ;D

His yew recurves are very smooth and fast shooters! :o I think I will have him assist me on building one of those in the near future.

That's really cool Josh, you are a very lucky guy to have a bow making legend that is willing to put up with your questions. A sign of a good teacher as well as a great guy. I know you understand how special it is to have what seems to be a growing friendship.  Congrats and you can put it down now it won't take off by itself. :D

its good to hear that you where helping him out...and to receive a bow from him would be a great honor...thats same way i feel about dave,gordon,and keenan....i really hope you get to shoot some thing with it...john

Wow, what a deal! I was admiring that bow when I was working with him last month. You're a lucky guy to be able to work alongside him on a regular basis.
