red oak linen backed board.so tell me what you guys see in the shop it looks ok but the pics to me show the left limb bending more than the right i think. my eyes are tired. it is pulled to 13 in and is braced at 3.75 inches .was going to try the oval trick but i can not get the oval in the right place.it is 55" and the handle is still a little stiff going to try to get it to bend a little  but not to important only shooting for a 24-25 in draw and the weight not too important would like 30-40 lbs.but as long as it is functional before i give it away then i'll be fine. it is for a cousin of mine down by the choctow nation here in mississippi. so the design on the back is going to be like one that rich showed me after staining and painting.

Well all the bending is happening mid limb. No other place on the stave is bending. Remove wood from the end of the fades out to mid limb and remove wood from about the last 8-10 inches. Leave the mid limb area alone. My site may help. Jawge
