DiGi I thought you were joking or either had left out some pic's. My first five or so bows caused me serious trouble getting the tillering off the ground. Then I realized what the guys were all saying about floor tillering was real important.
You simply cannot "tiller" something that ain't moving. When the limbs start to flex and bend the bow is coming alive and you can work with it.Until then it is just a piece of wood.And listen to sailordad about tillering weight.
You are absolutely right to go slow the first dozen or so. Keep the pic's coming these guys love to help with tiller
