String angle

Hey ive been working on short bows after seeing a couple of threads about them, and i was wondering does string angle affect speed/power of your arrows? and why if you can?

It does because it allows you to pull a short bow farther giving it more stored energy.

Ah so i should just recurve my shorter bows so they have more punch, alright thanks  :)

Remember there is trade off for all things,shorter bows with steep string angles tend to stack and for most are harder to shoot, But yes they usually are some what faster.  :) :)

   Pappy right they also tend to have more hand shock. The shoter the bow the more your mistakes and  ampafided kinda like a compound with a overdraw. The longer your overdraw the more your mistakes are notisable. This is where the turm MORE  FORGIVEING comes from. Longer the bow the less to see your mistakes.
