Black Cherry with a bit of character
« on: May 29, 2011, 03:54:27 pm »
Hi all here is a bow I made for my daughter 35# @ 26" black cherry given to me by a local tree trimmer who keeps my bow building addiction going.I flipped the tips but the rest is just natural profile, backed with deer rawhide.snappy shooter for the pounds it pulls and a whole lots of fun.First time I tried this wood good stuff but don't know how it would do for heavier weight bows.finish is tung oil-Thanks for looking-Hammertime

Cool bow!
I like how the symmetry changes at full draw. And i guess it will be something for her to grow with judging from the pics ;)
