A couple of more today
« on: May 30, 2011, 06:53:28 pm »
I finished up a 6" Rainbow Obsidian blade and a 5" spear point today. I forgot what kind of rock the spear point is. Aww, now I remember, Burlington. :)

That's better than what I could have done. I'd have turned that long one into 3 small ones :D
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

I really like the blade and with my luck the burlington balanced on the stick would fall and break.  I broke three points this weekend just by dropping them on the floor as I was turning them around in my hand.  Took me minute to figure out that it was a branch.

Well done Mullet, I would be proud to make any of the points you've posting.

However it is another sad day for me....a lame handed man is still making far better points than me..  :D.

Thanks, Pappy. I got that piece of Burlington at the Classic. Jesse saw me getting ready to whack on it after we had been drinking Spring water. He made me put it away till I got home. :D ::)
