I got my blaze orange arrow wraps from Onestringer yesterday and finally got around to fletching a couple of my Gold Tips today.
Here's the results and I think even I would have a hard time losing one of these, but I'm sure I can git er done.
Here's a pic of my aluminum footings. They are 2117 aluminum shafts cut down to 2" long and add an extra 25-26 gr. to the foreshaft. I found that with this little bit of extra weight in front they shoot my 125gr. Snuffers real well, plus the footing adds even more strength to the tip of the shaft.
Completed arrow should end up around 480gr. but I haven't weighed them yet so that's just an educated guess at the moment.
