Garden stake arrows
« on: May 20, 2011, 10:30:30 pm »
Here are some garden stake arrows I just finished up. They are made from bamboo garden stakes from a local  K -Mart store. I paid around 3 bucks for a bundle of 25. I got these 4 for a heavy weight bow( They shoot great from my 75 pound hickory bow) and 4 more I'm working on for a 52 pound Osage bow.The tips are screw in type from aluminum/ carbon arrows. The fletching is 2.5 inch banana cut.The finish is a red colored stain that was on the stakes when I bought them, followed by 3 coats of spray on Helmsman spar urethane.  Enjoy

Nice looking arrows, but it's even better that they fly well.   Ron
