Newest Knife
« on: May 23, 2011, 06:02:13 pm »
Here is the newest knife I finished.  it is a hunting knife that I was asked to make for someone.  The handle wood is Zebrawood.  I have one more of these to make for someone else.  Then it is back to getting some more blades to make some more.

I like the look and feel of this knife.  It is very comfortable in the hand.  It seems like it fits really nice.  I wish it was mine so I could take it out this fall! :)

Hope you like it.

Very nice!  What did you finish the handle with?

Thanks HatchA!

Jonathan, thanks!  I used tung oil on it.  It is about my 8th coat?  I want to make sure that no matter how much use the blade gets, it will still look nice. :)

Thanks WVBowhuntr!  I like the knife a lot.  Can't wait to get the next one done.  Not that I am going to want to get rid of it, but it is spoken for.
