Hickory - static recurve - finished pics.

 I had pics of this one in its tillering stage awhile ago.Named this one lefty for a friend who gave me the wood.It finished out at 50# @ 26'' ,2lb short of disired weight but really spits an arrow.Hope he likes it,giving it away tomorrow.

63"ntn shagbark hickory,first pics were May 12. I boiled the tips for 40 minutes,ran down stairs and bent the tips in my vise.My friend wanted a pistol grip that was a challenge but feels good.
 I hope it shoots well ,I can't shoot left handed to save my life.
I used fibrings leather die for the color and 3 coats of spray spar urathane to finish.

We get a lot of humidity up here to Bob( not bow friendly ) the spring and autumn I shoot hickory bows more often.
