good job. as it turns out, I have been doing something similar. I've been on a board bow kick, trying to make something that i really like to shoot and would hunt deer with. mine are 64-66" long, 1" wide, last 12" or so tapering to 3/8" at tip. they are backed with burlap and just barely bend in the handle (no riser). I absolutely love how they perform. it's a real eye-opener for me, cause up until now I have always worked with osage. I have one from red oak and another from maple. the next will be hickory. Once again, great job man, and i know for a fact how satisfying this type of (simple) bow can be.
