Plainview point
« on: April 21, 2011, 03:58:42 pm »
Found this piece of novaculite at the Pedernales Knap-in. Didn't know what to make out of it,about half way into it I figured it would make a nice Plainview. 4.5" long1 1/8" wide.Unfortunately the colors make it hard to see the flake scaring.

Thank you Mr. Coyan I saw how you really take your time to make yours symmetrical & I decided
to spend a little more time applying it to my points.

That is one, pretty, blade. When you make them that thin there sure isn't any reason to flute it.
