my buddy broke the tip off and i took what was left over after he broke it and managed to get this.  Not bad for a first time i don't think i had never notched before so i broke it attempting that.  But it glued back real nice.

This was some he had up here and he broke it so i took what he did not bust up and made this.  I cant blame him though all his rock would end up on the floor in little broken pieces.

Save that!  I know a lot of knappers who would love to be able to put their hand on the first point they made.  Most of them got lost, given to kids or something, they no longer have their first point and really wish they did.  Bill

i am going to save it i have it in a box with some that i have found.  As far as bashing on rock i have no problem with that.  just have to go through some rock to get good
