My gosh!!  Neat.  I'm impressed with that horn/carp skin combo.  That is attractive.  I imagine it really spits em out too.

I've been thinking about a bow just like this for a couple of years now but never attempted it.

Horn was cut in half, flattened with heat the put thru a drum sander to get to about 3/16th of and inch.  The bow started as a selfbow, but was my first try at this design I missed weight by 15 pounds, so I decided to try to bring it up to weight.  One layer of sinew and the horn brought weight up 25 pounds.   Recently retillered to 55lbs.

That'll do ;D Very nice, you could pike it back to 65# and send er on up here to Canada ;)
Seriously, you could have gone a bunch shorter with the horn and sinew combo, not that it is too long, but think of the possibilities.(light bulb above the head smiley needed here)
