Eastern Woodland set of arrows

Fellas,
     made these for seabass. The arrows are white pine, straight grained, split and sanded by hand 3/8" dia. The fletch is canadian goose primaries cut short (wanted the black for contrast) This glued down 2 fletch style comes from a drawing you'll recognize, it happens to be Potawatamii but they fit the general pattern of this area, as well.

Forgot to say that the one birding arrow is red on the top half so ya can tell the difference in the quiver. Also the bird arrow is NOT correct in style, because it has fletchin. Most everyone I ever saw had no fletching at all and slightly bigger carved heads....just so ya know that it aint "right".....it does keep ya from explaining to them that dont know, how come it aint got any feathers.

Rich i want to tell ya,ole seabass likes them alot.you did a great job buddy.the goose feathers look great on that green background.i also like the fact that the bird arrow is red.last deer season i had a chance at a big fat squirrel,but by the time i dug trough my quiver looking for my blunt he was gone.thanks for the look,steve

     SeaBass just told me he was just being polite, and didn't want to hurt your feelings, and said to tell you to send them to me, since I ain't proud, like he is.
 
Those are nicer than a bowl of Pepsi and grits!  I always wondered what possessed them to make a bow like that.  Unless they carried a gourd, and played music with it at night in camp.

Cool arrows Rich. Not what I think of when I hear "Eastern Woodland" but authentic none the less. I need to broaden my horizons.     
  Have you thought about making a museum of Eastern Woodland "things"?  You sure have nailed the archery equipment of that era.    You do some nice European stuff too!

Very nice arrows Half eye, these are for sure some of the nicer arrows ive seen on here. all that was needed was some stone points on those and they wouldve been the same as in the book. What did you use to dye the shafts?
