a little ABO hoe
« on: April 22, 2011, 02:29:06 am »
i was bored tonight
didnt feel like working on my trade bow
didnt realy feel like knapping but i needed to do something
so i sat down and had intentions of cleaning my rock pile up some
as i was moving stuff around from one spot to another (my form of cleaning  ;D )
i stumbled across a bi face of pink novaculite i had
i looked at it  and said what the hell lets see whats hiding in this one
i used nothing but 2 differant moose billets and a whitetail tine to make it
even during bifacing only antler tools
never made a hoe before, the bi face was round and i didnt want to waste to much of it
i could decide what to make and finaly decided to give a ho a try
i think i did alright for my first one and all antler tools
heres a few pics, thanks for looking

That is Hotastic  ;D
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

Hey, if you want to try it out comedown to TX. I have neglected my garden and the weeds have overrun the veggies. But times are kinda tough I can only pay in rocks.
