Wow Mannie, that was worth the wait! Great example of what I'm sure is a well tillered bow, but with the natural curvature of that top limb...doesn't have the typical visual look we're all used to seeing from a well tillered bow.

Great job! ;)

Beautiful, Manny - looks like the two roads around each end of Oahu  :D Great FD pics and they will be on Page 13 of my TBD pages as well. Bob, I know you have to be every bit as excited as this ol' hoss is about my Guava.

Manny, your still the king of character. In my book that means your more than just a great bowyer. It takes some serious skill to see the bow and skillfully extract it from a twisted narly piece of wood thats full of dips and dives.
Most would give up befor even starting and the few that venture to attempt the near impossible, end up frustrated and quit. But for the select few that are brave and tenatious the reward is a one of a kind head turning true work of art.
Congratulations on the task that few could pull off.
Nice to see ya still taken the challenge. Keenan

Ps, Ghost You are one lucky Dog !!!

Sorry for making more work for you Don ::)

But I just got words that the bow developed a compression fracture in the S section of the lower limb.

That makes it not fit for BOM cosideration.

sorry again

I'm sorry to hear that Manny. If the fractures are localized it may be repairable with rawhide and an overwrap.
