finally finished my first full size red oak board bow
( I had made some 4' kids bows) It was 68" nock to nock pyramid style around 42lbs @ 29" with slight recurves. I shot it 50-75 times and it was shooting great , but I took the string off to tighten it , when I went to restring the bow it broke about 2" above the bottom nock
. I know it will never be the same , but was wondering if it would be worth the time to shorten the other end , and re-tiller???
Thanks
