 its a knickname  sa .. shawn acker, i  had some hispanic friends that would call me that way back , just kinda stuck

I always wondered where that originated from...

Mine comes from the fact that many of us call ourselves 'primitive' bowyers, but most of us use modern hand-tools.
Because I do, I didn't think I could call myself fully primitive, and it soon became 1/2primitive.

ya i think it had double meaning ,  some of them would pass me off as there cousin when we went places  i guess i have enough cherokee to  look a little mexican
